This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit pidev.at or contact me through this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

Data I process

Contact form: when you send an enquiry I process the name, email address and any company, budget or message details you provide.

Server logs: my hosting provider may automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, for security and operation.

Preferences: a functional cookie stores your chosen language; your light/dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser.

Purposes and legal basis

Contact data is used to respond to and handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f), my legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

Technical and log data is processed on the basis of my legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients and processors

Email enquiries are transmitted and stored via my email provider (IONOS, EU-hosted). The website is hosted by Vercel; some technical data may be processed on infrastructure in the EU and/or the United States under appropriate safeguards.

I do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and I do not sell your data.

Retention

I keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet legal retention obligations, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at).
